WHY WE EXIST

Confidence at the command line.

Your first Linux server should be a beginning, not a barrier. Unfamiliar commands and the fear of making a mistake can make even everyday tasks feel difficult.

Petacomm exists to make that experience easier. We bring useful capabilities into clear, approachable tools, so you can spend less time memorising commands and more time doing what you came to do.

HOW WE BUILD

More capability.
Less complication.

01

Power made approachable

We bring many features together and make them easy to understand. Every interaction should have a clear purpose, even for someone who is just getting started.

02

Dependable by design

We favour straightforward mechanisms, predictable behaviour and software people can rely on. Simplicity is part of how we build, as well as how our products feel.

03

The user stays in control

Making a task easier should never mean taking the decision away. Our principle is to explain changes to your system and ask for your approval before proceeding.

OUR PERSPECTIVE

Open source matters to us.

We value the freedom to inspect software, understand how it works and contribute to its development. Open source is an important part of our approach to building for Linux.
